Paving  is the corner stone of our company.

We have paved everything from roads to private drives,footpaths etc.

 Paving is all in the prep work if this isnt right the finished paving wont be right so as a rule mc cann civils make sure a good depth of hardcore on a solid surface ready to take any load you might put on it.

Cheap materials mean a cheap job but if you spend a little more on whats under the blocks even though you may not see it this is what makes a good job.Use drainage channels where needed

All levels must be right allways running out from the building so as not to cause damp in the future.

All kerbs must be backed up either side of the kerb with concrete never sand and cement so as to ensure these wont move when paving blocks are laid and vehicles rub against them. How many times have you seen kerbs out of place thats why, not enough preperation.

If your budget will allow try and put a sealent over the paving it really protects them and also looks good for longer.

We have seen various paving where in six months weeds have formed mainly because of bad prep work,this is where your contractor has'nt used a membrane under the sand, it will stop any light and water feeding those weeds makes sense dosent it yet so many companys disregard this simple tecnique.

Never start at the highest point and work down its allways the other way low to high,this stops a large stretch of block paving creeping leaving wider gaps.
